Which ultra light reel would cast small spinners the farthest?
Im into Trout Fishing and all of their favorite lures are too light to cast more than 10-15 feet without putting a weight on it. I dont want to put a weight on it so I have to get the reel that can cast very light lures the farthest. Which is the best?
p.s.- Im fishing for rainbow trout and using 2-4 lb line and an 1/8oz spinner
Pick the one with the largest spool diameter. There will be less coiling of the line (which shortens casts), less susceptibility to spool memory. Also any spinning reel will cast better with lighter line.
Of course, rod length and action has something to do with it also.
People who want more stylish and/or more comfortable seats than those that came with their motorcycle originally can get after market or custom seats from a number of different companies. Corbin motorcycle seats come in a number of different styles, and there are styles to fit pretty much any motorcycle out there.
Couples who do a lot of touring or long rides on their motorcycle should consider the Dual Touring Saddle. Unlike many motorcycles seats, these Corbin motorcycle seats have adjustable backrests both in the front and back seats. For riders who aren't particularly tall you can also get a Close version that puts you closer to the pedals and the ground than regular motorcycle seats.
For those who like to ride solo and like the macho look of a seat that is barely there, the Hollywood Solo might be a good option. Although they are very low profile the way the seat is sculptured and the high density foam that it is made from makes it comfortable enough to be used as a small touring motorcycle seat.
Bikers who mainly go on short rides might like the Young Guns Corbin motorcycle seats. These low profile seats with high density foam give you enough support for medium rides, though the passenger seat won't be comfortable for very long, so this is meant mainly for people who ride solo.
Those who like a more radical look might appreciate the pointed back end style of the Stinger saddles. The driver's seat is made with ergonomic shaping and is very comfortable. There is even a back rest option in many applications. However, the small pointed rear won't be comfortable for passengers for any length of time.
A great option for people who want a seat the will look cool when they are riding solo but will also be comfortable for passengers is the Rumble Seat. There is a sissy bar system hidden in the seat, so when you have a passenger you flip up the rear backrest and have a very spacious and comfortable back seat. There is even an option to add electric heating, making rides on cold days a lot more pleasant. These Corbin motorcycle seats really combine style and comfort.
However, saddleseat riders do sit farther back than hunt or western riders do. Not just farther back on the horse, but, as I was told when I started riding saddleseat, you have to "sit on your butt, not on your crotch."
Hands should be held high, usually higher than your elbows, although it depends on your horse's headset to a degree. And make sure you keep your head up, and shoulders back.
Stirrups should be at the height of your ankle when your leg is hanging naturally, and lower legs should be off the horse, not close to his barrel. Elbows should also be out slightly, but not so much that you look like a chicken.
Where can I find butane fuel 8 oz can for portable camping stove in honolulu?
I am looking for a place to purchase 8 oz butane fuel for portable camping stove.
respond only if you know where to find please
Thanks in advance for your time
Al
There is a "Sports Authority" store on Oahu, at 333 Ward Avenue in Honolulu, near Ala Moana Shopping Center and between downtown and Waikiki. That would probably be the best place to find stove fuel.
I am looking for an American flag stars and stripes shotgun stock, forend, or barrel.?
Own a Remington 870 express and can't find a patriotic accessory anywhere online. I know someone else has got to have come across the same issue within the southern states. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Such stocks, often featured on gun magazine covers and advertisements, are custom paint jobs. The paint they use is a specialty firearms paint called Durakote. In fact, there is a flag-painted gun in their ad! It's avalible in a wide range of colors.
All you'd need to do is to paint the parts with the white first, apply masking tape cut to the shape of stars to make the stars and strips of masking tape to form the white stripes.
Allow to dry. Then (leaving the previous masking in place) mask over where the red stripes will be, and paint the blue area. After the blue is dry. cover it with masking tape and uncover the red stripes and paint the red in. After the red dries, remove all the masking tape and you'll have a very patriotic gun.
With Durakote, you can paint the entire firearm if you wish, as it was designed for use on all types of gun materials, from wood to aluminium to plastic to steel.

Can you answer this question about mil Dot Rifle scopes?
Hi. I have a Barska SWAT, and want to learn a little bit about how to judge distance using the mil dot reticle. Are there any good sources you can give me.
Also, what magnification does it have to be set at for the mil dot formula to work effectively? Mine is a 6.24x60. Thanks.
Look here for your answers..... These articles can explain it better than I ever could....
Each sport has many popular brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Under Armor, that athletes are loyal to. These brands are known for their quality and they produce many different products for multiple sports. In the case of disc golf, Innova and Discraft are the two most well-known brands, but each has its own unique style.
Of the two brands mentioned, Innova is my favorite because it was the first type of disc I used. Innova is a great brand for beginning disc golfers because they created a chart which separates the different types of discs by weight and stability. Their chart is divided into four categories: distance drivers, fairway drivers, mid-range discs, and putt and approach. On the Left Hand side of the chart, there is a column which displays the speed of each disc in descending order. Another great feature about Innova discs are the types of plastics they use. There are four different types of plastic: DX makes the disc easier to grip, Pro provides unique feel and durability, Champion has a variety of colors, and Star provides different colors as well as a better plastic to help grip the disc. Innova discs are so popular because they hold many world records for distance and many professionals have won championships using their product.
Discraft is another popular brand that many beginners and experienced disc golfers use. Unlike Innova, Discraft's web site advertises more than just disc golf; Discraft is a major brand for ultimate frisbee and freestyle. To differentiate themselves from Innova, Discraft has three types of drivers, along with a mid-range disc, and a putter. Discraft and Innova are similar in the fact that they both have charts, but Discraft's chart is more straight forward and less technical. On their site, they explain how to look for the stability on the disc and they go through the steps you should take when picking out a disc.
Which is more worth it Innova or Timberwolf?
I know timberwolf is slightly higher quality and richer then innova, but they are both 6 star ratings, so it doesn't matter if I get innova then timberwolf to me. I'm wondering which one is more worth it, feeding guide line wise, comparission of price for lbs? and price each for lbs if anyone knows please note it down. I live in canada, BC if anyone lives here PLEASE post
Both are very good. Go with the one that your dog likes better.
I have had the opportunity to hear the great Mac Wilkins speak on a couple of occasions, and this past summer I had the rare privilege to spend a week at the Olympic training center, where he worked with a handful of coaches in a learn-by-doing environment. His teachings have had a significant impact on my understanding of the discus.
In his presentation at the 2005 NTCA conference, Mac laid out his basic principles that he has established throughout his career. Mac's basic principles include:
o There is no hit
o Sling it - whip it - throw it like a hammer - foxtails
o Longer path and lever is better
o The line through the circle goes from left foot to the middle to the left foot
o Slow to faster
o What you do at the back, you repeat at the front
o The center of the merry-go-round turns slower
o Many paradoxical feelings
These are his fundamental principles that are referred back to during every phase of the throw. In his classic instructional video, Gold Medal Discus, Mac breaks the throw into four phases:
o Windup
o Balance
o Orbit
o Block
The windup is a portion of the throw that is often overlooked by beginning athletes. Remember principle number 6 above, "what you do at the back, you repeat at the front." If the athlete rushes the windup or is not balanced on the windup, this will lead to an improper power position, and most likely a foul throw.
The windup establishes the rhythm of the entire throw, therefore it should be the slowest movement. The right foot should remain planted on the circle, as the athlete winds the discus back around the right leg. The hips and shoulders counter each other, and the weight is distributed fairly evenly among the feet. Remember that the head should remain neutral, with the chin in line with the sternum. The disc should only be wound back as far as comfortable for the athlete while remaining in control. Athletes often wind too far back, and cannot maintain the separation of the disc and hips. Upon entry to the throw, the discus "springs" back creating too much speed going into the middle of the circle. Remember that the athlete must work the ground, or circle, to transfer force into the implement. So slow down, and spend some time in the back of the circle.
During the windup and entry of the throw, balance is crucial. The athlete must be balanced both left to right, and back to front. Being balanced out of the back is critical to landing in a proper power position at the front of the circle. Mac's keys for being balanced left to right are:
o Left arm, knee and foot locked in same plane
o Inside ball of left foot as guide
o Left shoulder around left toes
o Arms up - see the horizon
In order to maintain balance back to front, Mac uses the following keys:
o Inside ball of left foot as guide
o Knee leads and hips must follow
o Maintain integrity of posture
o At 9 o'clock (90 degrees) - left knee drops - right knee comes off
o Left thigh close to vertical
o Hip path through circle
o Balance B2F allows hips to get ahead and right leg to work
The windup and entry of the throw should be slow and balanced. Setting up the proper positions is much more important than speed. If the entry is not executed properly, then it will be nearly impossible to get into a balanced power position allowing long throws.
Out of the back of the circle, the athlete rotates nearly 180 degrees on the inside of the left foot, with the discus locked back and left arm long. When the thrower's left arm reaches the left sector line, the athlete looks to a high point at 180 degrees, and aggressively pulls the inside of the right leg toward the Left Hand with a dorsiflexed foot. As the right foot sweeps to the middle of the circle, the left foot pushes off the circle leading to the flight phase. Upon landing in the middle of the circle, the athlete keeps the discus locked back and continues turning the right foot as long as possible. The left foot should land quickly after the right. The discus should be allowed to sweep long around the body into a natural release point. The thrower must resist the urge to pull or hit the discus as this will only interrupt its orbit.

Sling shot ride at darien lake ?
Is the Sling shot ride included in admission price or do you have to pay extra? Also is it scary?
no sling shot is not included in admission. you have to pay an extra $20 if you want to go on it. the same is true for the sky coaster. it is also not included in the admission price and you have to pay an extra $20 for that if you want to go on it as well.
well i wouldn't say its "scary" cuz i love that kind of thing but i'll say that its pretty thrilling. you don't know when you are going to be shot up and after you are shot in the air the ball you are in twists and turn upside down and only after is stops moving a lot do they pull you back down.
its awesome you should definitely go on it if you can afford the extra money!
What Effect Does More Ball Bearings Have On Round Baitcaster?
I Am Looking at buying a baitcaster and was just wondering if more ball bearings make much difference in baitcasters
Cheers
They normally make a reel much smoother. The more, the better isn't always the deal. If you see a "Pinnacle" baitcaster with 7-ball bearings for $40, and you see a Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C3 reel with 3-ball bearings for $90, the Pinnacle isn't going to be smoother. Why? Because the Pinnacle (not picking on Pinnacle, but they are notorious for putting 5, 6, and 7 ball bearings in $40 reels) may use cheap, crappy bearings while the Abu C3 Ambassadeur uses very high quality bearings. You get what I'm saying?
